A serious motor vehicle crash in Bedford left two individuals with life-threatening injuries after a Chrysler Pacifica struck a concrete barrier at the Bedford Toll Plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike. According to New Hampshire State Police – Troop B, the collision occurred at approximately 9:17 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, when a gray 2023 Chrysler Pacifica driven by a 76-year-old North of Manchester veered into a concrete barrier while traveling southbound.

An adult male passenger and three dogs were also in the vehicle. Both North and her passenger sustained severe injuries and were transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment. Two of the three dogs were pronounced deceased after being taken into the care of Bedford and Merrimack animal control officers.
The crash prompted the closure of three southbound toll lanes for nearly two and a half hours as State Troopers and assisting agencies conducted a whole scene investigation. Responding units included Bedford police and fire, Merrimack police and fire, and personnel from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
